Photographs: Investing In My First Painting
“You, Me, and Michelle” or as I named it “The Girls” was my first print to be purchased with the support and advice of my very dear friend and lover of art. I often think of my college girlfriends and all of our hilariously fun times during and post-college. This print led to others and paintings, glass, ceramic, sculptures, etc. I enjoy my artwork whether I paid for it myself in installments, a gift from a friend, or created by one. They bring me joy and each holds a story that brings me comfort. I’ve needed to listen to dad’s words periodically and consequently shared them with my children-” Money doesn’t grow on trees”… but they are fun to walk along or picnic under.
