Books and More...Still Life- author, Louise Penny
I have thoroughly enjoyed Louise Penny’s two recent books which inspired me to look into “Still Life,” her first book from the Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series, and it did not disappoint. Three Pines is the town that Chief Inspector Gamache is dispatched in this first book of the series. It is portrayed as a thriving, warm community in every way possible…except of course the murder that has brought his expertise. The descriptive landscape, colorful cast of characters, and clever storyline full of twists and turns will lure me back for more intrigue. As my schedule permits, I will no doubt work my way through the list of books to Louise Penny’s credits.
